Future Projects

The Castle is now closed until estimated to be spring 2012 to enable major restoration, refurbishment and repair to the fabric of the property to be undertaken

The initial stages of this work will be to encase the whole structure under a temporary roof and scaffold, in order for the roof to be stripped and replaced, as well as re-pointing of the walls to the seaward side of the building. The foul and surface water drainage systems are also to be reconfigured and/or repaired.

Internally, the principal rooms will also be undergoing renovation and redecoration.
